PRAY BIBLE PROMISES: 1 KINGS
(Message by Tanny Keng)
1. Bible Prayers
a) There is no best prayer known other than to pray accordingly to His Word. This is one sure way of experiencing what His Word says in our lives as we identify and agree with what He has said in His Word.
b) There are more than 7,200 prayers in the Bible. Below are some examples that you may want to use by yourself, in a group, or be creative and pass along ways others may be able to use it.
2. Pray Bible Promises
a) 1 Kings 1:1 King James Version (KJV)
Lord, thank You for the book of 1-Kings, which gives an account of the end of king David's reign, and of some of the kings who reigned after him.
b) 1 Kings 8:23 King James Version (KJV)
23 And he said, Lord God of Israel, there is no God like thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before thee with all their heart:
Lord, teach me to be Your servant, and cause me to walk before You with all my heart. Give me mercy, and keep Your covenant with me.
c) 1 Kings 8:27 King James Version (KJV)
27 But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have built?
Lord, Your dwelling place is not on this earth, neither can the heavens, or the heaven of heavens contain You.
d) 1 Kings 18:21 King James Version (KJV)
21 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the Lord be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.
Lord, do not let my heart be divided between worshiping You and worshiping anything else. Please bring me into a close relationship with You, where You lead and I follow.
