PRAY BIBLE PROMISES: PHILEMON (6)
(Message by Tanny Keng)
1. Bible Prayers
a) There is no best prayer known other than to pray accordingly to His Word. This is one sure way of experiencing what His Word says in our lives as we identify and agree with what He has said in His Word.
b) There are more than 7,200 prayers in the Bible. Below are some examples that you may want to use by yourself, in a group, or be creative and pass along ways others may be able to use it.
2. Pray Bible Promises
a) Philemon 1:15-16 King James Version (KJV)
15 For perhaps he therefore departed for a season, that thou shouldest receive him for ever;
16 Not now as a servant, but above a servant, a brother beloved, specially to me, but how much more unto thee, both in the flesh, and in the Lord?
Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that although Philemon's slave had departed for a season, he had returned as an eternal brother.
Lord God, cause those who stray, have their disobedience become an instrument that brings them to become a son, and a brother in Christ.
Lord, when I stray in disobedience, bring me back to You as a son, and as a brother in Christ.
b) Philemon 1:16 King James Version (KJV)
16 Not now as a servant, but above a servant, a brother beloved, specially to me, but how much more unto thee, both in the flesh, and in the Lord?
Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that those who are now in Christ, are no longer Your servant, but Christ's beloved brother.
Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that we are to have brotherly love for fellow believers, both in the flesh, and in You.
Lord God, thank You for Your truth, that those who are now in Christ, are no longer a servant, but a brother beloved.
Lord, cause me to have brotherly love for all fellow believers, both in the flesh, and in You.
Lord God, cause me to not be as a servant to You, but as a beloved brother, in Christ.
