REJECTION & LONELINESS (2)

(Message by Tanny Keng)

1. Rejection and loneliness

a) The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. God has said, “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?” (Hebrews 13:6 NKJV)

2. Other Scriptures

(1 Samuel 12:22 NIV)
For the sake of his great name the LORD will not reject his people, because the LORD was pleased to make you his own.

(1 Samuel 30:4-6 NIV)
So David and his men wept aloud until they had no strength left to weep. {5} David’s two wives had been captured–Ahinoam of Jezreel and Abigail, the widow of Nabal of Carmel. {6} David was greatly distressed because the men were talking of stoning him; each one was bitter in spirit because of his sons and daughters. But David found strength in the LORD his God.

(Psalms 9:9-10 NIV)
The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. {10} Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you.
