PRAY BIBLE PROMISES: LAMENTATIONS (2)

(Message by Tanny Keng)

1. Bible Prayers

a) There is no best prayer known other than to pray accordingly to His Word. This is one sure way of experiencing what His Word says in our lives as we identify and agree with what He has said in His Word.

b) There are more than 7,200 prayers in the Bible. Below are some examples that you may want to use by yourself, in a group, or be creative and pass along ways others may be able to use it.

2. Pray Bible Promises

a) Lamentations 2:17 King James Version (KJV)

17 The Lord hath done that which he had devised; he hath fulfilled his word that he had commanded in the days of old: he hath thrown down, and hath not pitied: and he hath caused thine enemy to rejoice over thee, he hath set up the horn of thine adversaries.

Lord, You have done everything You have promised You would do. You have thrown me down for my iniquity, and You do not pity. You have let my enemies boast of their power.

b) Lamentations 2:18 King James Version (KJV)

18 Their heart cried unto the Lord, O wall of the daughter of Zion, let tears run down like a river day and night: give thyself no rest; let not the apple of thine eye cease.

Lord, hear my cry to You. See the tears run down my face day and night. I am worn out with weeping, and the grief does not stop.

c) Lamentations 2:19 King James Version (KJV)

19 Arise, cry out in the night: in the beginning of the watches pour out thine heart like water before the face of the Lord: lift up thy hands toward him for the life of thy young children, that faint for hunger in the top of every street.

Lord, listen to my cry in the night, and hear me pour out my desires to You. I lift my hands up to You, to bring life back to my soul.

The End ...
