PRAY BIBLE PROMISES: 1 THESSALONIANS (5)

(Message by Tanny Keng)

1. Bible Prayers

a) There is no best prayer known other than to pray accordingly to His Word. This is one sure way of experiencing what His Word says in our lives as we identify and agree with what He has said in His Word.

b) There are more than 7,200 prayers in the Bible. Below are some examples that you may want to use by yourself, in a group, or be creative and pass along ways others may be able to use it.

2. Pray Bible Promises

a) 1 Thessalonians 4:9 King James Version (KJV)

But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another.

Lord, thank You for placing it in my heart, and for teaching me to love others.

b) 1 Thessalonians 5:12-13 King James Version (KJV)

12 And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labor among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;

13 And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves.

Lord, reveal to me the labor of fellow believers, and of those who are over me in Your service, who may at times offer me correction. Cause me to esteem them in Love for their service towards You, and to be at peace with them.

c) 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 King James Version (KJV)

16 Rejoice evermore.

17 Pray without ceasing.

18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Lord, give me a heart of rejoicing, prayer and thankfulness.
