THE BEGINNING & THE END

0. Introduction

a) The Bible records for us the beginning of the world and the end of the world. The story of mankind, from beginning to end - from the fall into sin to redemption and God's ultimate victory over evil - is found in the pages of the Bible.

b) Let's look at the beginning (Genesis) and the end (Revelation).

1. Genesis

i) The sun is created.

a) Revelation
 
i) The sun is not needed.

2. Genesis

i) Satan is victorious.

a) Revelation

i) Satan is defeated.

3. Genesis

i) Sin enters to human race.

a) Revelation

i) Sin is banned.

4. Genesis

i) People run and hide from God.

a) Revelation

i) People are invited to live with God forever.

5. Genesis

i) People are cursed.

a) Revelation

i) The curse is removed.

6. Genesis

i) Tears are shed, with sorrow for sin.

a) Revelation

i) No more sin, no more tears or sorrow.

7. Genesis

i) The graden and earth are cursed.

a) Revelation

i) God's city is glorified, the earth is made new.

8. Genesis

i) The fruit from the tree of life is not to be eaten.

a) Revelation

i) God's people may eat from the tree of life.

9. Genesis

i) Paradise is lost.

a) Revelation

i) Paradise is regained.

10. Genesis

i) People are doomed to death.

i) Death is defeated, believers live forever with God.
