PRAY BIBLE PROMISES: AMOS (1)

1. Bible Prayers
a) There is no best prayer known other than to pray accordingly to His Word. This is one sure way of experiencing what His Word says in our lives as we identify and agree with what He has said in His Word.
b) There are more than 7,200 prayers in the Bible. Below are some examples that you may want to use by yourself, in a group, or be creative and pass along ways others may be able to use it.

a) Amos 1:2 King James Version (KJV)
2 And he said, The Lord will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the habitations of the shepherds shall mourn, and the top of Carmel shall wither.
Lord, prepare my heart to receive Your instruction, and from being one who mourns because of Your judgment.
b) Amos 2:9 King James Version (KJV)
9 Yet destroyed I the Amorite before them, whose height was like the height of the cedars, and he was strong as the oaks; yet I destroyed his fruit from above, and his roots from beneath.
Lord, thank You for Your truth, that although the Amorites were like the height of the cedars, and strong as the oaks, You destroyed them before Israel. You destroyed their fruit from above, and their roots from beneath.
c) Amos 3:2-3 King James Version (KJV)
2 You only have I known of all the families of the earth: therefore I will punish you for all your iniquities. 3 Can two walk together, except they be agreed?
Lord, cause me to walk in agreement with You.
d) Amos 3:7 King James Version (KJV)
7 Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
Lord, thank You for revealing Yourself through Your prophets.
