RESPECT

a) To learn what the Bible has to say on a variety of topics affecting our everyday lives, we may find what we are looking for here.
2. Respect
a) God is worthy of great respect. It's in the Bible, Exodus 3:5, TLB. "Don't come any closer," God told him. "Take off your shoes, for you are standing on holy ground."
b) Those in authority are worthy of respect. It's in the Bible, I Samuel 24:5-6, TLB. "But then [David's] conscience began bothering him, 'I should not have done it,' he said to his men. 'It is a serious sin to attack God's chosen king in any way.'"
c) We should be respectful of everyone. It's in the Bible, I Peter 2:17, NIV. "Show proper respect to everyone: Love the brotherhood of believers, fear God, honor the king."
d) Respect must be shown to the elderly. It's in the Bible, Leviticus 19:32, NIV. "Rise in the presence of the aged, show respect for the elderly and revere your God."
