FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS!

A Response to "For Such a Time as This"
Jesus Intercedes for Us
Jesus has gone back to the Father, and He is interceding for us. This is not a passive waiting; it is an active, ongoing ministry. He is seated at the right hand of God, making intercession for His people. He is our advocate, our mediator, and our high priest. He is not distant or indifferent; He is deeply involved in our lives. He prays for us, He pleads for us, and He presents our requests before the Father. His intercession is our assurance that we are not alone. The Son of God is on our side, and He is praying for us.
We Are Expected to Do Greater Works
Jesus expects us to do far more than He did. He declared in John 14:12-14 that whoever believes in Him will do the works that He does, and even greater works than these. This is not arrogance; it is an invitation. Jesus did not limit His ministry to His own time on earth. He passed the baton to His followers. He entrusted His mission to us. He gave us His authority, His power, and His Spirit. The works He began, we are to continue. The message He proclaimed, we are to proclaim. The Kingdom He established, we are to advance. We are not just followers; we are His representatives. We are His hands and feet. We are His voice in the world.
The Holy Spirit Has Come
Jesus has already made way for the Holy Spirit to come and lead and guide us to do the will of the Father while we have the time on earth. The Holy Spirit is our Helper, our Teacher, and our Guide. He empowers us, equips us, and directs us. He is not a distant force; He is a living presence within us. He leads us into all truth. He reveals the will of the Father. He gives us the power to do what we could never do on our own. We are not left to figure things out by ourselves. The Spirit of God is with us and in us, guiding every step.
All Authority Has Been Delegated
All authority in heaven and on earth has been delegated to us. This is not a promise for the future; it is a reality for the present. Jesus has given us authority over unclean spirits, authority to heal the sick, authority to preach the Gospel, and authority to make disciples. This authority is not based on our strength but on His. It is not a privilege to be wielded arrogantly but a trust to be stewarded faithfully. We have been given the keys of the Kingdom. We have been entrusted with the message of reconciliation. We have been commissioned to be His witnesses to the ends of the earth.
We Can Do Far More
For that reason, we can do far more greater work than the limited three years given to Jesus' ministry on earth. Oh, what a privilege and honor! Jesus' earthly ministry was confined to a specific time and place. But His ministry through us is not limited. We are His body, and we are everywhere. We are His voice, and we speak to every generation. We are His hands, and we serve in every nation. The work that Jesus began is continuing through us. The harvest is plentiful, and the laborers are many. This is not a burden; it is a privilege. This is not a duty; it is an honor.
Heavenly Angelic Hosts Are Ready
Heavenly angelic hosts are ready to guard us in all our ways. The angels are not just observers; they are participants. They are ministering spirits sent to serve those who inherit salvation. They are assigned to protect us, guide us, and fight for us. Isn't it cool? These heavenly angelic hosts do not have the opportunity unlike us, despite the fact that they desire to look into these things. They long to understand the mysteries of salvation. They are amazed at the grace of God. They watch with wonder as we carry out the mission of Christ. We have been given a privilege that even the angels do not have. We are the heirs of salvation. We are the ambassadors of Christ. We are the vessels of His grace.
For Such a Time as This
God has given us such a privileged assignment for His kingdom. In fact, we have such an honor for such a time as this. You were not born by accident. You were not saved by coincidence. You were placed in this generation for a purpose. The challenges of this time are not obstacles; they are opportunities. The darkness of this world is not a reason to hide; it is a reason to shine. You have been given authority, power, and purpose. You have been entrusted with the Gospel. You have been commissioned to make disciples. You have been called to be salt and light. This is your moment. This is your time. Do not shrink back. Do not give up. Do not settle for less. You are here for such a time as this.
Final Reflection
Jesus intercedes for us. The Holy Spirit guides us. Authority has been delegated to us. The angels are ready to help us. And we have been placed in this moment for a purpose. So what are we going to do about it? The answer is clear. We are going to rise up. We are going to step out. We are going to fulfill the mission. We are going to do the works of Jesus—and even greater works. We are going to advance the Kingdom. We are going to be witnesses. We are going to shine the light of Christ in a dark world. This is our privilege. This is our honor. This is our calling. For such a time as this.
Prayer for Purpose
Lord, I thank You that Jesus intercedes for me, that the Holy Spirit guides me, and that authority has been delegated to me. I thank You that the angels are ready to help me fulfill my assignment. Help me to rise up and do the works You have prepared for me. Help me to be bold, faithful, and courageous. Help me to shine Your light in this dark world. I am ready to fulfill my purpose. I am ready for such a time as this. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.
