SPIRIT OF COUNSEL & POWER

1. The Spirit of counsel and power
a) Counsel – ‘etsah: advice, plan, advisement, counsel, purpose.
(1 Corinthians 12:10)
… to another prophecy,
b) Might – gebuwrah, force, valor, victory, mastery, might, power, strength.
(1 Corinthians 12:9-10)
to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles,…
c) Counsel and power go together because power is faith, and faith comes by hearing a word from God through the Holy Spirit. The just shall live by faith because when they receive a word from God through the Holy Spirit they obey and produce fruit that glorifies God.

“I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. {13} “However, when He, the Spirit of truth, has come, He will guide you into all truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come.

But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.
