1. Unity with God
a) God desires to make you His holy home. Jesus says, “Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” When Jesus comes into your heart He will satisfy your desires to experience true love, joy and peace; and you will satisfy His desire to have an intimate relationship with you.
2. Other Scriptures
(Daniel 5:14)
“I have heard of you, that the Spirit of God is in you, and that light and understanding and excellent wisdom are found in you.
(Zechariah 2:13)
“Be silent, all flesh, before the LORD, for He is aroused from His holy habitation!”
(Luke 17:20-21)
Now when He was asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; {21} “nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.”
(John 7:37-39)
On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. {38} “He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” {39} But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.
