WHEN IS REVIVAL NEEDED? (2)
(Message by Tanny Keng)
1. Psalms 80:1-3, 18-19
Psalms 80:1-3 (NASB)
1 Oh, give ear, Shepherd of Israel,
You who lead Joseph like a flock;
You who are enthroned above the cherubim, shine forth!
2 Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh, stir up Your power
And come to save us!
3 O God, restore us
And cause Your face to shine upon us, and we will be saved.
Psalms 80:18-19 (NASB)
18 Then we shall not turn back from You;
Revive us, and we will call upon Your name.
19 O Lord God of hosts, restore us;
Cause Your face to shine upon us, and we will be saved.
2. At A Time ...
a) When motivational speaking has replaced biblical preaching.
3. We Need ...
a) The Lord to open our eyes again that we may see Him. We want to see His holiness again that we may see our depravity. There is no other desire that we have than to hear again the same voice that spoke in the Valley of Dry Bones to bring us back to life.
Ezekiel 37:5-6 (NASB)
5 This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life. 6 I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the Lord.’”
