THE GLORY OF GOD (3)

(Message by Tanny Keng)

1. The Glory of God

a)The glory of God is the manifestation and revelation of the His love in the radiance of His power and splendor.

(Psalms 19:1-3 NIV)
The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge. They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them.

2. Other Scriptures

(Psalms 63:1-3 NIV)
A psalm of David. When he was in the Desert of Judah. O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. {2} I have seen you in the sanctuary and beheld your power and your glory. {3} Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you.

(Psalms 111:1-4 NIV)
Praise the LORD. I will extol the LORD with all my heart in the council of the upright and in the assembly. {2} Great are the works of the LORD; they are pondered by all who delight in them. {3} Glorious and majestic are his deeds, and his righteousness endures forever. {4} He has caused his wonders to be remembered; the LORD is gracious and compassionate.

(Psalms 113:3-8 NIV)
From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the LORD is to be praised. {4} The LORD is exalted over all the nations, his glory above the heavens. {5} Who is like the LORD our God, the One who sits enthroned on high, {6} who stoops down to look on the heavens and the earth? {7} He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; {8} he seats them with princes, with the princes of their people.

(Psalms 138:5-6 NIV)
May they sing of the ways of the LORD, for the glory of the LORD is great.
{6} Though the LORD is on high, he looks upon the lowly, but the proud he knows from afar.

The End ...
