1. The God of Truth
a) Truth is not truth unless it meets God’s definition of truth. Truth can not be relative unless it is relative to the God of Truth, anything less is deception. Truth is a person.
b) Jesus says,
(John 14:6 NASB)
“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
2. Other Scriptures
(Psalms 61:6-7)
You will prolong the king’s life, His years as many generations. {7} He shall abide before God forever. Oh, prepare mercy and truth, which may preserve him!
(Psalms 69:13)
But as for me, my prayer is to You, O LORD, in the acceptable time; O God, in the multitude of Your mercy, Hear me in the truth of Your salvation.
(Psalms 85:7-11)
Show us Your mercy, LORD, And grant us Your salvation. {8} I will hear what God the LORD will speak, For He will speak peace To His people and to His saints; But let them not turn back to folly. {9} Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him, That glory may dwell in our land. {10} Mercy and truth have met together; Righteousness and peace have kissed. {11} Truth shall spring out of the earth, And righteousness shall look down from heaven.
