GOD HAS PERFECT TIMING

1. Introduction

a) God says, "Be still and know that I am God."

i) 10“Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” (Psalm 46:10 NIV)

b) What does it mean?

i) "Be still" - to stay put, do not move or do anything.

ii) "Know" - to spend time communing with God, praying for his will to be done, His purpose to be accomplished and his assignments to be fulfilled.

iii) "I am God" - the all powerful one, Almighty God, the creator of heavens and the earth. He is able to do anything that seems impossible. Therefore, he will be exalted among the nations, he will be exalted in the earth!

c) God's timing is always perfect and "just in time" for you to do his bidding.

2. God's timing

a) In God's timing, he will arrange things he wants to give in the way he desires.

i) 1There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: (Ecclesiastes 3:1 NIV)

ii) 32from Issachar, men who understood the times and knew what Israel should do—200 chiefs, with all their relatives under their command; (1 Chronicles 12:32 NIV)

@1. Men of Issachar knew exactly what they need to do.

#1) 23These are the numbers of the men armed for battle who came to David at Hebron to turn Saul’s kingdom over to him, as the Lord had said: (1 Chronicles 12:23 NIV)

3. Don't miss God's timing

a) Do not miss God's timing. Nor be hasty and miss the way.

i) 2Desire without knowledge is not good— how much more will hasty feet miss the way! (Proverbs 19:2 NIV)

b) It has to be done in the right time according to God's calendar. You need to know the season like the farmer who knows the time to sow and the time to harvest.

i) 6The hardworking farmer should be the first to receive a share of the crops. 7Reflect on what I am saying, for the Lord will give you insight into all this. (2 Timothy 2:6, 7 NIV)

4. Spend time praying

a) Spending time praying if you want to know God's timing.

b) Pray for your contacts, business opportunities, relationship etc. with perseverance to see the power of God being released.

c) Pray and wait for the right time to act. Things will favour you without struggle in divine appointed time.

5. No pain, no gain

a) Without the cross, there is no glory! A seed must die in order to produce many seeds.

i) 23Jesus replied, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. 24Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds. (John 12:23, 24 NIV)

b) You need to pay the price or no surprise. You need to die to self. You need to be crucified with Christ, it no longer you that live but Christ lives in you.

6. Prophetic celebration

a) The time has come for celebration. Many pleasant surprises God will unfold. You will be overwhelmed until speechless. God's hand of blessings will be upon your every endeavour. You will not know what to do with the overflowing riches and wealth.

7. Greater glory

a) The beauty of greater glory will be revealed in its own time. You need to believe and trust him for what God has intended for you.

b) To totally rely on him for everything thing you desire for and things he may give them to you even without asking if you ask the thing right that delights his heart.

8. Prayer focus

a) Pray that you will be sensitive to God's timing and know how to act at the right time.
