THE GOOD NEWS (5)
(Message by Tanny Keng)
1. The Good News
a) When we are born again we have a new nature, a new spiritual DNA, that of our Father in Heaven.
Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. (1 John 3:9 NKJV)
b) We have now been made righteous and holy, allowing us to be in Christ and for Him to live in us. We do not want to sin we want to walk with God in faith and love.
c) Today, Jesus may be knocking on the door of your heart.
Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me (Revelation 3:20 NKJV).
d) The price Jesus paid for you on the cross proves God’s love for you. To ignore Him is not wise.
In this the love of God was manifested toward us, that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. (1 John 4:9-10 NKJV)
e) There is so much more to know about The Gospel of Jesus that relates to you. There is a multitude of promises for you to know about and believe to receive because of the price Jesus paid for you. The whole New Testament of the Holy Bible is The Gospel.
What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? (Romans 8:31-32 NKJV)
